this is not the best picture i took that day, but it seems i'm taking too many pictures of just a hand. which seems like cheating. so along with more pictures outside i'lll try and take more including my face.
i do like the "fabric" scissors, though.

ok, so not so under control. dad is being difficult and bullying allie and i to get the advice of his investment guy. which we're not against, i sent him a fax and z sent him a long detailed email. and his response was super dramatic and trying to make us panic. he wants a conference call with us and we don't want much to do with him anymore. the worst part is i can't call my mom to complain. i really want her advice. It's not that she's a genius with money, but she is with people and conversations and relationships, and that's what the problem is right now.

Ch keeps making me laugh. the outtakes of this one have me sticking my tounge out at him.

our printer has been making the most horrific squeeking noises. it started gradually, but now it can be heard across LL1. on friday CH borrowed some oil for clippers from the hairdressers, but it didn't seem to make a difference. today he went to buy WD40 and i called tech support. it's not under warranty with Dell anymore, but it still is with the Fleurbot. so after going through all the diagnostics with the guy at dell, they said they'd send us a part. well, the next day what arrives but a whole new printer! with a new $150 toner already inside! i took it out and put in the old toner and ch helped me set it on top of the old paper tray... and it still squeeked! ch said, wait, is that the old toner... so we put in the new one, and silence. it was the toner all along! so now we have a back up printer. just in case. a good thing to have! this is ch and i using the desk chair as a dolly to wheel it to a hiding place.
