first, the whole never blogging thing is lame, but the worst part is when i do blog i just whine about my mom and don't ever type about what's going on in my life. so the big thing is: you recall lisa! and i planning on moving in together? well, she decided it made more sense to buy than rent, since she has some savings and there's so many forclosures. so we've been house hunting. i can't believe i haven't blogged about it, and all the arduous process it has been. but we've found a place we like, and the price is right, and they accepted our offer, and they signed the contract. so here we are! i've given my 30 days notice to be out by sept 1st which is scary cause we don't know if we'll be able to move our closing date up from sept 2nd. but i am excited about painting, and having a 2 bedroom place, and not having to travel every night to be with lisa. and this place is adorable, hardwood floors, fireplace, minimal right angles (it's on the corner of a diagonal street) and a little back deck we share with the neighbors.
so sorry i missed that key information! i also just got back from the beach and am having a hard time transitioning to real life. i miss my mom (she's driving through BC and cruising to AK) and i am being wistful about the smell of the ocean and suntan lotion.
