"i'm not a invisible. i'm sort of just hidden. like a chameleon, but without the taste for insects." - elizabeth crane, when the messenger is hot
"why was fabulousness important? the world was a scary, sad place and adornment was one of the only ways she knew to make herself and the people around her forget their troubles." - francesca lia block, necklace of kisses
lisa and i disagree about deodorant. she believes in antiperspirant, and i think heavy metals don't belong so close to my lymph nodes. She replies i stink and she'd rather have armpit cancer than smell. etc. We haven't gotten into the marketing hoopla of women's vs mens deoderant but can i just say WHAT IS UP WITH THAT? do people really believe we sweat differently? I'm guessing degree for men is extra responsive when playing sports. but women don't play sports so when do they sweat? fucking emotional moments? give me a break!
