WOW! got a 'lil packet from ruth. she returned all about my mother and sent me an article about blogging from the süddeutsche zeitung. i can get the gist of some of it. i'm so appalled though, that the german translation for links is Links. that doesn't make any sense! Links in english is the connecting part of a chain- it makes sense as links link pages together. but in german Links means left. so stupid! what's so special about english?
anyway. i survived confronting frances about ian's costume (there was compromise) the director still isn't happy with the first scene and i don't know what to do about it, and everyone's gonna see it friday night.
