ruth went to work early, so i had the morning by myself. she gave me money to go grocery shopping, and so i went out and explored all the little stores on kopernikusplatz. after i bought the pasta and cheese at the plus, the kasse gave me 2,60€ back. well, i heard a coin clink but didn´t try and find it. when i got to the next store i realized it was the 2€ piece i had dropped! change is worth SO MUCH here! i came home and started cooking, and by the time ruth came home at 1.30 i had a delicious soup all ready for her. we worked on schoolwork all afternoon, then i got our her motar and pestle and made hoummus for dinner. it was very successful. i was nervous about doing it all by hand, but it was easy and yummy and i think that´s what we´ll take to the new years party. after that, ruth was too tired to work anymore, and so we sat, and chatted, and drank tea, and looked at all my photos from home.
