mehr 2. weihnachtstag

the afternoon was unremarkably lazy. checked emails, meike wrote letters and prepared packages for me to take to the us to mail. we watched the muppet christmas carol in english and this czech cinderella story meike loves in german. Aschenbrödel. Martin and a new friend natalie came to play games that night. her family is from GB, so i was so excited to meet another native english speaker. she was totally sweet, and i always love martin. i think his english is better after studying in ireland, too. but he's always been a great communicator. so that´s a day of 2 postitive german experiences to make up for the day before. Meike and i stayed up all night talking. it was so typical of us, we always have so much to say the night before i leave. i still can´t believe i´m here, so it´s easy to believe i´m leaving.
