neumarkt

it was so cozy and cute! when ruth and i took the bus through the center of neumarkt i kept shouting out what i recognized- "that used to be a clever store!" "that hotel´s slogan is 'mehr als nur gemütlich!'" "i bought the hat i adored after you shaved my head there!" her parents' house is so cozy and christmassy and german. they have a tree, a real tannenbaum with red and silver balls, straw ornaments and garlands, and real candles. thex have lace adn straw and stained-glass-paper stars in the window. it´s all right out of the harthsong kit. i love sitting around that cozy little table with ruth and her parents, drinking tea our of bowls, eating cookies, listening to them argue. i´ve done it often enough it feels like a home to me.
